Marine Sgt. James E. Eskridge, Eskridge, 24, was a passenger in a truck which swerved off the highway attempting to avoid collision with another truck, according to his wife, who lives at..727 S. Campbell Av. A supply sergeant serving bis third Viet Nam tour, Eskridge died Nov. 24 from multiple injuries sustained sustained in the incident, his wife said. Eskridge attended Crane High School before joining the Marines at 17. He obtained an equivalent high school diploma in' the service, his wife said. Also surviving are his daughter, daughter, Catrina, eight months; his father,' John Fox; bis mother, Ophelia Eskridge; three brbtners; and tnree sisters.
