Don was born on Dec. 29, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Charlie and Christine Dykstra. He was preceded in death by his brother, Len.

He is survived by his sister, Audrey Kinezan of Indiana. Don was previously married to Dorothy. His life was celebrated for the past 22 years with Michaelene. Don served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Corporal; he is a retired truck driver from the Teamsters Union 705; he enjoyed sailing in Lake Michigan; he was an avid golfer who was very proud of his "3" hole-in-one achievements.

Don is survived by his wife, Michaelene Dykstra; daughters, Carrie Lyn (Dale) Uthe and Susan Beth (Simon) Robbie; grandchildren, Callie, Scott, Andrew, Mathew and Victoria; and many other friends and family who will dearly miss him. 1, 1930 in Queens, NY and had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 37 years. In 1989 Mr. Kerrigan retired as Marketing Sale Director for Allstate Insurance. Mr. Kerrigan had served in the U.S.

Navy during the Korean Conflict. He attended Rutgers University for three years and received his BS Degree from Thomas Edison University. Mr. Kerrigan was a member of the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities, a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and an avid fan of Notre Dame.

Born to Herbert and Catherine (Doran) Schmidt, Tom, the seventh of nine children, grew up in Chicago and married Sally Hamman on May 4, 1963. He served as a Chicago Police Officer for 31 years and a member of the Emerald Society, the German-American Police Association and the Illinois Police Association, for which he served a two-year term as President (1995-1997).
