SERVICES SET FOR POLICEMAN SLAIN IN TAVERN Mass for William Neven, 37, a policeman who was shot to death early Friday morning in a near north side tavern, will be said at 10 a. m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Grace Catholic church, 2400 N. Ridgeway av. Neven was killed in the tavern at 644 N. State St., by Anthony Miranda, 39, of 829 N. La Salle st., .after the two fought. While they were struggling, Miranda grabbed Neven's service revolver and Aid him in the head. Neven was off duty at the time. He was married and the father of eight children, aged 6 months to 12 years. Miranda was shot in the side after he resisted arrest by policemen called to the scene. He still was in a coma yesterday in Henrotin hospital.
