Gene sees the first film, adapted from the 1972 pop hit from CAROL BURNETT SHOW co-star Vicki Lawrence, as having not much to write about except that stardom is in the future of star Kristy McNichol. The second film is seen in Gene's eyes as a fourteenth-rate horror spoof.
