2 Geneva's mayor ral water program that is expected to develop into a model for sewage treatment in the 21st Century. He was working as a railroad consultant after retiring last year from his position as director of governmental affairs for the Chicago a North Western railroad, where he had worked for 24 years. Survivors include a daughter, Chris; a son, Marty; his parents, Marion and Dr. Donald Ottilie; a brother; and a sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William T.

Jenison was a lifelong journalist, starting as editor of his high school newspaper in Fond du Lac, Wis. As a lieutenant commander in the Navy during World War II, Mr. Jenison worked in intelligence in Washington and aboard aircraft carriers in the Pacific. In addition to his service in Congress from 1946 to 1954, he served on the Illinois State Board of Vocational Education, as a member of the Illinois Constitutional Convention and as a director of the Illinois State of Commerce. As a journalist, Mr.

Jenison was named by the Southern Illinois Editorial Association as master editor in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son, Edward; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Jenison were held Thursday in Paris, Ill. Skokie resident, died Tuesday in Glenview Terrace Nursing Home in Glenview after a long illness.

Mr. Pinzur, a resident of Skokie, operated Pinzur Pharmacy at seven locations in Chicago. He also worked as a general contractor specializing in fire and flood restoration at Scott Brite Construction in Northbrook. Mr. Pinzur served in the Army during World War II.

Ottilie, 46, mayor of Geneva, was known as a champion of controlled growth and development in the Fox River community. A resident of Geneva for more than a decade, Mayor Ottilie died in 1 Monroe County, late Tuesday of injuries sustained in a one car accident.

"He was very sincere, straight up and very honest about everything," said Roger Morris, a long. time friend and a former Geneva alderman. "He was the kind of mayor who would make the final decision, but he would leave people alone and let them do their work." Mayor Ottilie, who was born in Bakersfield, moved to Geneva from Iowa in 1985. He was appointed alderman of the 3rd Ward in 1987 and two years later won a three-way race for mayor. He was re-elected without opposition in 1993 and was expected to seek a third term next year.

Aficionado of Sherlock Holmes tales By Kenan Heise TRIBUNE STAFF WRITER Thomas F. McGee, 66, a retired supervising caseworker for the Illinois Department of Public Aid, was an avid fan of fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and helped raise funds so that the complete stories of his adventures would be available in every public library in Chicago. He also was a playwright and inventor of games. A resident of Littleton, where he moved from Chicago last year, he died in a hospital there Tuesday. His career as a social worker spanned 36 years.

He had a degree in social work from the University of Washington and had done graduate work in the field at the University of Chicago. His first job was as a copy assistant in the city room of the Tribune, followed by service as an Army cryptographer during the Korean War. He also worked for a while as a commercial artist in New York City. A Sherlock Holmes fan since childhood, he was a member of two Chicago Holmes' organizations: Hugo's Companions and the Hounds of the Baskervilles. He was also in the Baker Street Irregulars, a national organization based in New York.

In the 1970s, he served as a member of the Associates of Lomax, a group that collected books and money to promote the reading of Sherlock Holmes through the Chicago Public Library. Two of his plays had staged readings at the Playwrights Center. He produced a Sherlock Holmes chess set and invented the children's math game Multables. Survivors include his wife, Bette; two daughters, Amy Osborne and Kathryn Nikjoo; his mother, Ruth; a sister; and two grandsons. Plans for a memorial service were pending.

Ottilie During his tenure, Mayor Ottilie oversaw rapid commercial development in the city of 17,000 residents. At the time of his death, he was overseeing major downtown development projects and a natu- Harry Given Harry Given, 97, a lifelong resident of East Chicago, died Monday in an Indiana nursing home of heart failure. Mr. Given was in the fuel oil business and was a manager for 30 years of Albert Given Manufacturing in East Chicago. Following his retirement 27 years ago, Mr.

Given devoted his last years to his six grandchildren, said his son, Dr. Gilbert Given. "YHe baby-sat, he house-watched, he picked up, he dropped off; he did whatever was asked of him," he said. Mr. Given was past president of the East Chicago Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the city's Elks and Lions Clubs.

In addition to his son and his grandchildren, Mr. Given is survived by his wife, Esther; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Munster, Ind. Services will follow at 11 a.m.

Mr. Gran worked for the FBI for 36 years and was the special agent in charge of the Waukegan office, which covered the Lake County area, for about 30 years. Before heading the Waukegan office, he worked in Baltimore and San Francisco. He retired in 1978. He was a native of Kensington, Minn.

He graduated in 1940 from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons, Gregory and Gary; a daughter, Jennifer Barkley; four stepchildren, Lauren Weir, James Christian, Linda Christian and Cathy Glickman; and nine grandchildren. Jenison Edward H. Jenison, 88, was a three-term U.S. Representative from southeast Illinois and the editor and publisher of the Paris Beacon-News for the last 65 years.
