Mr. Galloway was an Air Force Veteran of WWII, later becoming a partner with Art Graphics Associates in Chicago retiring after more than 20 years. He had been a member of the Park Forest Lodge of Masons, the Civil Air Patrol and was a member of the United Church of Marco Island where he had been a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, nee Morlock, Galloway; son, David Galloway of Evanston, IL; daughters, Diane Langston of Marco Island. Born in Stillman Valley, Illinois on September 11, 1921, he joined the Marine Corps in 1943 and served on Iwo Jima with the Fourth Marine Division. He worked his way through the ranks of the construction business starting as an equipment demonstrator and "retired" as a top salesman with 35 years at Caterpillar tractor in 1983. During his career in the construction and heavy equipment business. he participated in many landmark construction projects in and around the greater Chicagoland area. Immediately following his "retirement" in 1983.

he relocated from Elmhurst, Illinois to Tampa and founded Suncoast Safe Lock and Suncoast Security Group in which he was active in until his death, and in which he worked relentlessly in the pursuit of perfection. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, "Peachy" Van Hoose, and sister, Helen Hewitt; survived by his sister, Ellyn Himert Rowley of Temple Terrace, FL; brother, Steffa E. Heimert of St. Petersburg, FL and Winnebago, IL; four sons. Fred W.

(Iris) of Huntington Beach, CA, Thomas W. (Donna) of Grand Prairie, TX, Gary W. of Tampa and Brian W. (Anastasia) of Tampa; daughter, Beverly (Carlos) Gutierrez of Fresno, CA; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other mourners include all present and past employees of Suncoast, especially Chuck Scheer and Cheryle Thompson, for their loyalty to "The Old Man" throughout the years.
