Frank D. Lino, 7417 North Paulina street, an elementary school principal, and his wife, who is a high school teacher, have a combined salary of 5707.64 a month during the school year. Lano is principal of the Volta Elementary school, Argyle street and Avers avenue. lie entered the school system in 1924 and receives $444 a month. Mrs. Lino, who is listed on the pay roll as Ruth D. Lino, teaches music at Roosevelt High school, 3436 Wilson avenue, and receives $263.64 a month.

The driver was Robert Johnson, colored, of 4S23 Champlain avenue. lie told Stanton avenue police his car had been rammed from the rear by a taxicab which then drove away. Paul Powers, 71 years old, 3136 Augusta boulevard, died in the Franklin Boulevard hospital of injuries suffered earlier in the day when he was struck by an automobile in front of 32 North Central Park avenue.

The driver was Sol Zueckcrt, North St. Louis avenue. The body of Joseph Gac, 43 year3 old, 5305 North Mobile avenue, was found at the side of Higgins road, west of Melvina avenue. Jefferson Park police said he had been killed by a hit and run automobile. A few pieces of glass from a broken headlight were the only clews to the driver's identity.
