Needed arc adult volunteers to help with grounds and equipment and to serve as umpires, managers, and coaches.

Besides Etten, support is being given the newly formed league by Tony Piet, former member of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox. Piet is affiliated with the Marquette Park Little league, but he has attended organizational meetings of the new league and has volunteered aid. PARKING CARS NEAR SCHOOL For children with a liking for mud, there's sheer delight in walking to Dewey school along the south side of 54th st. between Emerald and Union avs. But for teachers and other pedestrians strolling that way, it is necessary to detour across the street or to walk in the street at that point.

The reason is that motorists have mistaken a curb, sidewalk, and vacant area for a driveway and parking lot. Their autos have broken down the concrete and dragged mud over the path. This week, Aid. Warner 14th began a check of city records to find the owner of the lot. "Once found, the owner will be required to repair the sidewalk," the alderman said.

"The city can then rebuild the curb." He added that the owner will have to inclose the lot or apply to the zoning board for permission to use it as a parking area. The alderman said he had received no complaints about the sidevalk. 48 Leo High Mothers Leo High school Mothers club will hear a talk on religious training for their sons by the Rev.
