et Mlchirin. "flcjiists Wilhelmina Kissed at Amsterdam AMSTERDAM. The Netherlands. Aug. 30 (AP) Queen Wilhelmina came out of retirement today to spend the last week of her 50 year reign in the palace on Dam square.

Dutch by the hundreds of thousands along the. way cheered the monarch, who celebrates her 6Sth birthday tomorrow and abdicates Saturday In favor of Princess Juliana. The queen came by train from Apeldoom with a stopover at The Hague to receive the first of many ovations in her golden jubilee. She was welcomed at the palace doorstep by Juliana, the German born Prince Bernhard, and three of their four little princesses, who kissed their grandma. Queen Chats With Subjects Juliana gave up the role of princess regent to let her mother get the full attention of her people for this final week.

The queen was gracious and smiling, obviously tired but in high spirits. She chatted amiably with her subjects. With one lady in waiting as ber attendant, she arrived at The Hague wearing a simple gray suit and a plumed eray hat. At the strall ralace of her mother, the lata Quen Emma, she threw a mauve velvet robe over ber simple coEiume and emerged with this symool cf her return to the mon- archy she has twice turned over to as princess regent, Ehe received from a school girl a bouquet of orange colored roses to carry as a symbol of the house of Orange-Nassau. The cries went up: "Long live the queen" and "Queen, we thank you.

Calls Amsterdam 'Heroic" Then Wilhelmina came on to Amsterdam, the constitutional capital. All the aldermen were introduced, including two Communists. The queen told them Amsterdam always will be for her the city where the peoples resistance, against the Nazi invader first broke out as a flame. She said the city was "heroic, resolute, merciful." From Amstel station the queen was driven four miles thru streets festooned with orange flowers and hung with banners to the palace. Solid Lines of soldiers, sailors, marines and service women stood at attention as the queen passed.

Juliana and Bernhard were waiting at the palace. The whole royal family appeared on a balcony, ending the first public phase of the jubilee for them. Cemeteries are places to oe burled in and shouldn't be used for speculation. (Officials of larger Chicagoland burial grounds said yesterday. Most of them refuse to permit the buying and reselling of lots with speculative Intent.

Some legitimate sales by lot owners are being made, but the cemetery practice is to charge a 10 per cent fee for transfer of ownership. The spokesman for one of the larger cemeteries said he would boost the fee so as to wipe out the profit if he found speculative transfers being made. Some Resales Permitted 'Now and then we permit a resale, as in the case of a family that has owned a lot for years, perhaps burled one child in lt, and then moved to California," said one official, declining to be quoted by name. "The larger cemeteries, such as Rosehill, Grace-land, Oak Woods, and Mount Greenwood, took the lead in organizing the Cemetery Association of Greater Chicago, which has a code of ethics prohibiting phony sales and speculation. "We want to know who is com-, ing into our cemeteries.

Back in the days of the big gangster funerals, some hoodlums came into our office, laid down a roll of $1,000, and offered to pay any price without question. We turned them down. Promoters Started Trouble "The trouble with cemeteries started back in the20s when real estate promoters went Into the cemetery business In the suburbs and hired high powered salesmen to use gold brick tactics in telling people that lots could be sold later at a big increase in value. They didn't set aside care funds and after the selling job was done, the promoters talked out and the stockholders now are stuck with their holdings. No cemeteries of that type have been started In recent years.

"Another thing to remember is that if there has been a burial on a family lot, it is inalienable and can't be mortgaged. The rest of the lot might be valuable property, but a mortgage would be just a piece of paper." Sinon A. Murray, executive assistant state auditor, said that more than 90 per cent of the cemeteries have registered under the provisions of the cemetery care act passed by the 1947 legisla 7 Mark's Catholic church. Cortcz Nathan Belter and Camobell at 10:30 a.n. Burial will be In AH Saints cemetery.
