California was killed Wednesday night when the car he was driving collided with another auto at the intersection of U. S. Hwy. 45 and 95th Street in Palos Township, west of Hickory Hills. 2d Driver Charged Cleo Ingram, 26, of 14609 Beech Orland Park, driver of the other car, was charged with involuntary manslaughter.

State Trooper Melvin Praja-nowski said Ingram ran a red light before colliding with Schobel's car. Ingram and two passengers in his car were injured and taken to Christ Community Hospital, Oak Lawn. Schobel's wife, Marie, also was injured and was reported in serious condition.
