Dr, Darrow, a pioneer in brain wave studies, became director of the division in 1924 after receiving a doctorate in physiology from the University of Chicago. Frank M. Nardulli, 33, of 2056 N. 19th Melrose Park, filed suit yesterday asking the Circuit court to compel the Illinois Liquor Control commission to issue him a license for a night club at 4701 Lake st, Melrose Park. Melrose Park issued a city license, and Nardulli contends the state lacked authority to refuse him a state license. Federal authorities have contended actual owners are crime syndicate figures.
