Mr. Kromling was a retired vice president of Precision Scientific 3737 W. Courtland past president of the Illinois Manufacturers Financial Management Association, and a past president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Accountants.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothl; two sons, William J. and Fred Christiansen; a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Thorson; and seven grandchildren, children. Robert J. O'Shea Mass for Robert J.

O'Shea, 78, former secretary of the 50th Ward Democratic Organization, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 1701 W. Lunt Av. Mr.

O'Shea, of 1924 W. Morse died Sunday at his winter home in Hollywood Fla. He retired in 1974 after serving 14 years as an administrative assistant to Cook County Commissioner Jerome Huppert. Surviving are his wife, Rose, and four sisters. Deaths elsewhere Walter Mulr Whitehill, 72, director of the Boston Athenaeum, one of the nation's oldest private libraries, and an author best known for his books about Boston, including "Boston in the Age of John Fitzgerald in Boston.

Pieter Fosburgh, 63, naturalist and conservationist, who founded the New York State Conservationist Magazine and served as president of the North Woods Club for 21 years; in Berlin, N.Y. Nat Brandwynne, 67, conductor of the Caesars Palace showroom orchestra for the last 12 years; in Las Vegas, Nev. Meyer "Mike" Echale Services for Meyer "Mike" Echales, 59, of 1545 W. Chasa will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 9200 Skokie Skokie.

Mr. Echales, a driver for Western-United Dairy for 29 years, died Monday in Lake Side Veterans Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Eva; two sisters; and two brothers. Dr. Irvin C.

Miller Sr. Dr. Irvin C. Miller 86, a Chicago dentist for 50 years before his retirement in 1970, died Tuesday inAlexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Dr.

Miller, who lived in Hanover Park, had offices at Damen Avenue and Van Buren Street when he retired. Surviving are his son, Dr. Irvin C. Miller also a dentist; a daughter, Jane P. Kitsos; four grandchildren; and three sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at 5935 W. Belmont Av. Mrs. Elizabeth Simmington Services for Mrs.

Elizabeth Simmington, 101, of 7137 S. May St. will be at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Cleveland Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 7119 S. Racine Ave.

Mrs. Simmington, who played piano and organ in churches until she was crippled by arthritis six years ago, died Monday in her home. She was a native of Sandusky, where she lived for 90 years before coming to Chicago. She is survived by a son, Murland, 72. William II.
