BIE0 further meaningless talks with the white minority in Zimbabwe. The freedom fighters of Zimbabwe must now carry the armed struggle into the very heart of Zimbabwe," it said. Zimbabwe is the African name for Rhodesia. THE OAU pronouncement follows Friday's collapse of talks between Rhodesi-an Premier Ian Smith and black nationalist leader Joshua Nkorao on a transition to black majority rule. Meanwhile, Rhodesia's black nationalist leaders met supporters in various parts of the country to discuss the breakdown of the talks.

Nkomo, who said the end of the road had come when the talks collapsed, addressed 30 members of his internal faction of the African National Council privately in Bulawayo. No details of the meetings were available, but it was believed that black leaders would use the failure of the talks to stress that the Smith government would never accept early rule by the 6 million blacks, who outnumber whites by 20 to one. IN A RELATED development, South African Premier John Vorster said his country will withdraw its remaining troops from Angola by next Saturday if assurances it has received on the security of a dam site they are guarding prove correct. Heavily armed South African forces are dug in 15 miles inside Angola north of the South-West Africa border guarding the Calueque Dam, which is part of the giant Cunene River irrigation and hydroelectric project. The Soviet-backed Angolan government has repeatedly told them to get out.

South Africa's promise of withdrawal from Calueque is apparently timed to coincide with the United Nations Security Council meeting expected Tuesday in New York.
