Associate Dean of Business Richard Brown said the business school will provide advice for rejected applicants. "They will have to decide whether to change majors, pick up a business minor, or leave NIU," he said. The school stopped enrolling business minors in January.

However, school officials hope the new limit will allow enrollment of some minors next fall. Thus 1,100 new business majors will be enrolled next fall.
