Charles. Mr. Chandrakeerthi, formerly of Bangalore, India, died Saturday in Cook County Hospital. He was a graduate business student at Northern Illinois University, De Kalb. His body was cremated following services last Tuesday in the chapel at 2020 Roosevelt Broadview.

The WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (UPD-j The Food and Drug Administration has proposed American bakers be required to double the iron content of their white bread and remove all vitamin D. A spokesman for the American Bakers Association said the industry probably would support the changes. It was the first proposed result in bread and rolls with nutrient levels matching those proposed for commercially baked white bread. Citing "widespread, high prevalence rates of iron deficiency anemia," the FDA said, "the average iron intake in the United States has declined in recent decades due to decreased caloric intakes, less contamination of foods with extraneous sources of iron, and -282 in '71 Deaths from drug overdoses have reached an all-time high in Cook County for both the year and the month of November, according to statistics released yesterday by Dr.

Andrew J. Toman, county coroner. The latest fatalities were two young men who died in separate incidents yesterday just hours before Dr. Toman released his figures. Up until Nov.
