Benjamin Sher Benjamin Sher, 67, died yesterday in the nursing home at 6700 N. Damen where he had lived for the last five months. Mr. Sher, a tailor, owned a shop at 721 Kedzie av. for 25 years until 1945.

It was later moved to the north bank of the Chicago river, just east of the Michigan avenue bridge, where it was destroyed in the Chicago fire of 1871 and again in a fire in 1895. Mr. Kirk was an 1894 graduate of Harvard university. He is survived by his widow. Irene, and a daughter, Mrs.
