Marlowe, who pleaded guilty to a 13-count indictment, will appear as a state witness against two other ex -patrolmen, also charged in the scandal. Their trial is pending. Marlowe was captured in a police trap set at a west side lumber company Dec. 3. He was caught with $57 in marked money planted there by policemen.

After his arrest, Marlowe named 10 other patrolmen as taking part in a series of burglaries. All -but two have been cleared. the American bank, placing they would be seen by other children. Last year 539 unwed pregnant girls of 16 or younger reported to the District of Columbia health department Many of these girls dropped out of school permanently. Classes, to be started next fall, are expected to accommodate 60 girls at a time.

Harry Rubin, 22, of 1822 Maple Berwyn, made the admission while being questioned by Sgt. William Egan of the Chicago police department after he was arrested in his home on a warrant charging him with deceptive practices. Meets Bank Worker Rubin said that he devised the plot when he met James Kennedy, 22, of 2109 S. Oak Park Berwyn, last September and learned that he was a business machine operator at the American National Bank and Trust company, 33 N. La Salle st Rubin said he also mentioned the plan to Sam Gallo, 41, of 820 N.

Richmond st, who has identified himself to police as a loan collector for the crime syndicate.
