RACIAL BIAS Washington, Dec. 14 UPi Even a machine may display racial prejudices, a spokesman for the Equal Employment Opportunity commission said today. The commission recently investigated the case of a company which put all of its job applications thru a computer. The machine always reported that a white applicant was the best man for the job. Commission investigators convinced the company that the programmer, the man who set up the job standards within the machine, had established qualifications which would seldom apply to Negroes.

The investigators believed that this may have been done unintentionally. Luxurious threesome and fctnel schenker; tond sister ot me late Rosalyn Chapman. Services Thursday, 1 p. at Weinstein Brothers" Chapel, 1300 W. Devon.

Forty-seven of the ship's seamen filed suit against the ship's owners, Chadade Steamship alleging the vessel was in an unsafe condition. A federal court in Miami took jurisdiction of the claims against the owners today but said any action would be postponed until liability is determined. One order signed by Judge David Dyer froze suits of up to 15 million dollars against the owners. Another order advised any other claimants to file in his court by April 15. GREEKS BLAME 3 IN SHIP FIRE FATAL TO 125 ATHENS, Dec.

14 Lf) A merchant marine investigating committee today concluded a two-year inquiry into a fire aboard the Greek liner Lakonia that took 125 lives. The ship's master and two other officers were charged with gross negligence. The committee said the fire probably occurred in a barber-hairdresser shop on the ship. The Lakonia sank near Madeira after catching fire Dec. 23, 1963.

Most of the passengers were British. The investigating committee charged Capt. Matthew Zarbis, Staff Capt. Dimitri Valmas, and the safety officer, Chief Mate Spyridon Angelopoulos, with gross negligence for not carrying out certain safety precautions, failing to evacuate passengers in an orderly manner, and fighting the fire in "an amateurish manner." The committee did not say what measures would be taken against those charged. O'Connell Rornire A.
