Little Harp good reason for saying there might be some last minute revisions tomorrow. Fred Wallner, first string right guard, Frank Epstein, defensive guard, and Tom Murphy, right tackle, were all in the student infirmary this afternoon with the flu.

Wallner and Epstein were admitted to sick bay today. Murphy, who has been in bed for two days, still is there. All three are on the listed traveling squad, and, therefore, three replacements may be necessary. Gets Another Test Billy Barrett, junior right half who has been out for a month with an ankle injury, also is on the list of those to make the trip. He went thru a brief scrimmage period today with no ill effects, but Coach Leahy said the ankle will be given another testing at the short practice session scheduled before the trip to Iowa City, and there was a chance he might be replaced by a teammate.

16 Special Half Back Jerry Faske, who was benched last Saturday when Iowa lost to Illinois, 21 to 7, today was named co-captain of the Hawk-eyes in their last home game Saturday against Notre Dame. He will share the captain's duties with Delbert Junebug Perrin, guard. Faske has seen very little action since the first half of the Minnesota game two weeks ago. He had trouble with fumbles against both Ohio State and Minnesota, and lost his regular right half back job to Bob Chuck Wilson against Illinois. However, after today's practice it seemed apparent that Faske and Don Commack, left half back, had won their regular positions.

They were running in the first string back field with Glenn Drahn, quarter back, and Bill Reichardt, full back. Commack had been hindered by a shoulder Time. 1:47. Two dollar mutuels paid: Banjolst. $3.40 straight, $2.60 place.

Tackle John Hess, 6 foot 2 inch 195 pound senior from Grand Rapids, apparently will be Michigan's only varsity player, other than Wing Back Frank Howell, who will not be ready for action against Northwestern.

Hess, nursing a leg injury, has not worked out this week. Howell, of course, is thru for the season with a broken arm. These developments mean Michigan will be at its best physical strength of the season. Even Leo Koceski, senior wing back, hurt in the Army game and out of all four of Michigan's Big Ten contests, is certain to play. I do not anticipate any trouble with him, however. He will want to play. He always does." Then, after a pause, O'Neill added: "Ruth and Cobb and all the rest of them played in spring training and Ted isn't bigger than baseball." O'Neill said that during spring training at the Red Sox camp in Sarasota, it will be possible to give Williams a rest when he needs it. When we go on the road, however, we owe it to the other clubs to have him in the lineup if he is able," he added. Williams said yesterday he played in 37 of the 38 exhibition contests the Red Sox had last season.
