Mr. Fyfe, of Lincolnshire, died Sunday on a fishing trip to Ontario, Canada.

He was the president of Reichel and Drews, Itasca, a subsidiary of Signode Co. and manufacturers of industrial machinery. He had worked for the company for more than 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne: two sons, John H. Ill and Russell Stanley; a daughter, Amy Jean; and a sister.

Robert S. Harris Services for Robert S. Harris, 69, a pharmacist for 45 years, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 5903 Burr Oak Berkeley. Mr.

Harris died Saturday in his Hillside home. He was a veteran of World War II and worked for Tis-cher's Berkeley Medical Center Pharmacy. He is survived by a stepdaughter, June Duros, and three brothers. Leonard D. Ronin Leonard D.

Ronin, 73, former controller and treasurer of the Sahara Coal Chicago, died Tuesday in Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview. Mr. Ronin, of Glenview, retired in 1982 after 49 years with the company. He was a 1933 graduate of Loyola University. Mass will be at 10 a.m.

Friday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove Glenview. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two sons, Donald and Robert; two grandchildren; and a sister. John R. Leggett Services for John R. Leggett, 74, a salesman, will be held at 1 p.m.

Wednesday in the chapel at 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Mr. Leggett, of Alsip, died Sunday in South Suburban Hospital, Hazel Crest. He was a salesman for Graham Paint and Varnish 4800 S.

Richmond Ave. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Lawrence; a grandson; and three sisters. Brendan J. Farmer Mass for Brendan J. Farmer, 57, of Hinsdale, will be said at 10 a.m.

Friday in St. Cletus Catholic Church, 600 W. 55th La Grange. Mr. Farmer died Sunday in Community Memorial General Hospital, La Grange.

He was a material handler for International Harvester Co. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; two sons, Brendan and Michael; a daughter, Kathleen Kaecebein; two grandchildren; and two brothers. Sara Tishman Silverman Services for Sara Tishman Silverman, 87. a former Chicago resident, will be held Wednesday in Sunrise, Fla. Mrs.

Tishman died Monday in Ft. Lauderdale, where she had lived since leaving Chicago 16 years ago. She was the mother of Norman Silverman, an attorney with the Chicago law firm of Gottlieb and Schwartz. She also is survived by two grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; two sisters; and a brother. i Ada Westrate Services for Ada Westrate, 86, a former art director, will be held at 10 a.m.

Wednesday in the chapel at 5149-51 N. Ashland Ave. Miss Westrate died Sunday in a North Side retirement home. She was the art director of Meyercord Carol Stream, for many years until her retirement. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth W. Forbes Services for Kenneth W. Forbes, 79, of the Northwest Side, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 2000 E. Northwest Arlington Heights.

He was a retired assembler for Ford Motor where he had worked for many years. There are no immediate survivors. Edmund P. Curry Edmund P. Curry, 81, a retired veteran city employee who spent a year as Chicago's city treasurer, died Tuesday in Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn.

Mr. Curry, an Oak Lawn resident, formerly lived on the Southwest Side, where he was a member of the 14th Ward's Regular Democratic Organization. In January, 1960, Mr. Curry stepped up from deputy city treasurer to treasurer when Sidney Deutsch, the elected treasurer, resigned to take a seat or the Cook County Board. A year later, Mr.

Curry resumed his job as deputy treasurer when Mayor Richard Daley named William Milota to fill out the remaining two years in Deutsch's term. Mr. Curry spent about 35 years as a city worker, first in the building department and then in the treasurer's office. Mr. Curry is survived by his wife, Catherine: two daughters, Judith Graf and Sheila Perkovich; and three grandchildren.

Mass will be said at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Gfmaine Catholic Church, 4240 W. 98th Oak Lawn. Sophie Aron Sophie Aron, 82, former owner of a Chicago Avenue dress shop, died Tuesday in a North Side nursing home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 6130 N. California Ave. Mrs. Aron operated Sophie's Fashions, 1501 W.

Chicago for 42 years until she retired in 1976. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Chaimovitz; a son, Fred; two sisters; and four grandchildren. John H. Fyfe Services for John H. Fyfe, 50, an industrial machinery manufacturer, will be held at 7:30 p.m.

In 1887, Herman Hettler organized his own firm on Elston Avenue, along the Chicago River, between Fullerton and piversey Avenues. Sangston Hettler became associated with the firm in 1913 and became an officer of the firm in 1916. His lumber company career was interrupted during World War when he spent two years in the U.S.

Hettler Lumber Co. and a lumber company executive in Chicago for 68 years, Private services for Mr. Hettler will be held Thursday. He died Sunday at his home on the Near North Side. Mr.

Hettler, a native of Chicago, was a graduate of the Latin School and Yale University. His father, Herman, came to Chicago from Ft. Wayne, in 1878 and went to III JOICli fill farmer," his son added. Mr. Hettler, however, continued to come into work until he broke his hip in a fall on Marcn 17.
