Leonard J. Nelson Services for Leonard J. Nelson, 80, a retired stage technician, wiB be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 404 N. Green Mr.

Nelson, of McHenry, died Saturday in Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Mr. Nelson had retired from the Shubert Theatre, where he was house carpenter for many years into the 1980s. Mr. Nelson also had toured the country with various musical shows, including "Fiddler on the Roof and "My Fair Lady" and also toured Russia in 1960 as part of a cultural exchange program.

He also had worked at the Chicago Opera House. He had been a member of Chicago Locals 2 and 476 of the International Alliance Theatrical Stage Employees for 58 years. Survivors include his wife, Eleanore; a son, Bruce and three grandchildren. Elise "Happy" Turner Services for Elise "Happy" Turner, 57, of Evanston, were held Monday. Miss Turner, former treasurer for the American Association of University Women, died Saturday in Evanston Hospital.

Flax, a certified public accountant who lived in the Galewood neighborhood, was a partner with his son, David, in his businesses. He is also survived by his wife, Anne; two other sons, Steven and Charles; four grandchildren; and a brother. Anne Marie Lenkart Mass for Anne Marie Lenkart, 84, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Church, 6812 S.

Washtenaw Ave. Mrs. Lenkart died Saturday in St. Joseph, 111. She was a member of the Nativity B.V.M.

parish for 57 years. She is survived by two daughters, Cecilia Hitch, and Joan Wegner; three sons, Kenneth, Terrence and Thomas; six grandchildren; a great-child; and a sister. Rose S. Fowler Rose S. Fowler, 88, a dietitian for 60 years, died Monday in a convalescent home in La Grange Park.

Mrs. Fowler, formerly of Oak Park, was a graduate of Kansas State University. In 1921 she founded Chicago Dietetic which became a division of Sandoz Nutrition Corp. in 1978, the year Mrs. Fowler retired.

She is survived by a son, Glenn a daughter, Carolyn Chudik; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers; and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake Oak Park. Sister M. Rosalia Kwak Mass for Sister Mary Rosalia Kwak, 88, a member of the Feli-cian Congregation for 71 years, will be said at 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday in the Felician Sisters motherhouse, 3800 W. Peterson Ave. Sister Rosalia died Saturday in the order's infirmary. Born in Poland, Sister Rosalia entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Felix of Cantalice in 1913 and spent her years in service in Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri.

Peter Piegari Mass for Peter Piegari, 83, a retired Loop news vendor, will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 7600 W. North River Forest. Mr.

Piegari, of Elmwood Park, died Sunday in St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital. He was a news vendor at Wells and Washington Streets for 45 years until he retired in 1969. Survivors include three daughters, Jennie Fratto, Vita Marzano and Elaine Stephen; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Therese R.

McCarthy Mass for Therese R. McCarthy, 72, of Pontiac, 111., will be said at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Catholic Church, Odell, IB. Mrs.

McCarthy, who died Sunday in St. James Hospital, Pontiac, was an executive secretary for International Harvester of Chicago until her retirement. She was a member of the Livingston County Home Extension and Catholic Daughters oganizations. She is survived by her husband, Cyril; 3 daughters, Patricia Ryan, Kathleen Rentz and Bernadette Cummings; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother; and 3 sisters. Henriette Mertz Services for' Henriette Mertz, 89, a retired patent attorney and author, wiU be held at 10 a.m.

Tuesday in the chapel at 3600 W. 95th Evergreen Park. Miss Mertz, of the Hyde Park neighborhood, died Saturday in Hyde Park Community Hospital. Miss Mertz was the author of three books on archeology, "Pale Ink," "The Dark Wine Sea" and "Atlantis." A book on Michigan stones is to be published posthumously. As an author and student of archeology, she placed the Chinese in America 3,000 years before Columbus and the Greeks in America in the 12th Century.

She served as a Navy lieutenant commander during World War II in the Office of Scientific Research and Development. Roy A. Sternaman A memorial service for Roy A. Sternaman, 89, a retired electrical engineer, will be held at 11:30 a.m. in West Ridge United Methodist Church, 2301 W.
