Services for Douglas Loux, 16, of Sandwich, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Somonauk, 111. Loux, whose teen-aged sister was among six persons killed in a car accident on July 30, 1979, had just completed his junior year at Sandwich Community High School.

Survivors include his parents, Carol and Donald; a brother, David; and two -grandmothers, Joyce Peterson and Florence Loux. SERVICES FOR Dennis Kirlan, 17, of Sandwich, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Salem Lutheran Chruch, Sandwich. Kirlan also had completed his junior year at Sandwich Community High School. Survivors include his parents, Joy and Gerald; a sister, Kerri; grandparents, Sada Stotler and Mr.

Wednesday in the chapel at 18230 Dixie Homewood. Mr. Gill, of 2859 Ber-nice died Sunday in South Suburban Hospital, Hazel Crest. He was chairman of Frank H. Gill Olympia Fields, a firm he founded in 1945 that distributes material handling equipment.

Mr. Gill is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Charles and Jack; and seven grandchildren. Gunnar S. Gustavson Services for Gunnar S. Gustavson, 72, a former Chicago area resident, will be Tuesday in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

Mr. Gustavson, formerly of the Northwest Side and Wheeling, died Saturday in a hospital in New Smyrna Beach, where he had been living since 1972. He was a retired machinist for Northwestern University, Evanston. Survivors include his wife, Alma; a brother; and seven sisters. Josef Kunzle Mass for Josef Kunzle, 72, retired head chef at Phil Johnson's Restaurant in Northbrook, will be said at 9:30 a.m.

Lane Services for Brig. Gen. Henry C. Lane 72, World War II Marine Corps hero and native Chicagoan, will be held Wednesday in Pensacola, Fla. Gen.

Lane, who retired to Pensacola in 1958 after 27 years of service, died Sunday in Monroe, N.C., while visiting a daughter. As a Marine aviator he won the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1942 for landing a heavily loaded transport plane carrying bombs, gasoline, and oxygen on half a runway during a Japanese artillery barrage on Guadalcanal. He later flew more than a thousand wounded men off Guadalcanal and other islands under enemy fire. After the war he commanded the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing Service Squadron 17 in Japan. Gen.

Lane, formerly of 3249 W. Barry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, James and Jack; three daughters, Mary Griffin, Roberta Lisle, and Patsy Cross; and a sister. Rev. Elmer A. Nelson Services for the Rev.

Elmer A. Nelson, 73, past president of the Illinois district of the American Lutheran Church (ALC), were held Monday in American Lutheran Church of Rantoul, where he once served as pastor. The Rev. Mr. Nelson, formerly of Park Ridge, died Friday in Urbana.

He had been living in Champaign. He served the Rantoul congregation for 15 years before being elected as the first president of the Illinois district of the ALC in 1960. The ALC was formed by uniting the American Lutheran Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church, and United Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Delia; three sons, the Rev. David, the Rev.
