IT WAS NOT until 1946 that Breuer began his climb to the height of his profession. He designed a home that made room for different tastes of members of the same family. This became known as the "binuclear" or two-center home because it allowed for separate activities under the same roof, such as nurseries for children and dens for adults.

NEW TORR.Marcel Breuer, 79, the Innovative architect-designer who gave his mme to the steel tubular furniture he inveuted, died Wednesday in his Manhattan apartment Born in Hungary in 1902, Breuer trained at Germany's Bauhaus, the mod-enlist architectural institute. HIS INTEREST In tubular steel fundture, Breuer said, began when be became Intrigued by the shape of the handlebars of the first bicycle he bought in 1925. He reasoned that if steel could be bent to form handlebars it could be fashioned to construct furniture. Imitations of the style have since been mass produced.

He came to the United States in 1937 and became an associate professor in the Harvard Graduate School of Design's de Rites set for Agnes Tandberg, ex-dean of women at IL of associate dean of women at the university's Champaign-Urbana campus. Miss Tandberg also was a former president of the Illinois Association of Women Deans and Counselors and of the Chicago chapter of the American Association of University Women. In 1974 she received a distinguished alumni service award from the University of Illinois, and in 1979 she received a similar award from the Chicago chapter of St. Olaf College. Survivors Include four nieces and one nephew.

SERVICES FOR Agnes G. Tandberg. 78, a retired dean of women and associate dean of student affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, Minn. Miss Tandberg, of 1501 Maple Evanston, died Saturday in Evanston Hospital.

Ozeroff, a native of Pass Creek, British Columbia, worked for the National Research Council of Canada in World War. It and in antisubmarine warfare research for the Canadian government. in Washington. After becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen, he managed large reactor research and development groups for General Electric at Hanford and at the Vallecitos Nuclear Center in Pleasanton, Cal.

In 1961, he took a two-year leave from Vallecitos to help France develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Antonio G. Camboni Memorial services for Antonio G. Cam. boni, 82, of Bradenton, will be at 11 a.m. July 13 in Harvey's Restaurant in Downers Grove.

Mr. Camboni, who lived on Chicago's West Side and in the west suburbs until his retirement in 1959, died Sunday in Bradenton. He was the owner of Virgil's Cafe in Hinsdale and the Mobile Homes and Sales in LaGrange. He served in the Army under Gen. George J.

Patton during World War II and was captured by the Nazis in Italy and held prisoner for almost a year. He also was on the Andrea Doria when the luxury liner began to sink in the Atlantic. Survivors include two sons, Peter and Ray; nine grandchildren; and three Samuel Joseph Cooperman Samuel Joseph Cooperman, 69, a Postal Service employe, died Wednesday in Weiss Memorial Hospital. Richard O. Stoaks Demetrios "James" Panagakos Services for Demetrios "James" Panagakos, 81, a Randolph Street produce merchant and restaurateur for 64 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Av. Mr.

Panagakos, a founder of Assumption Church, died Monday in his North Side home. A Greek rant, Mr. Panagakos went into the produce business on Chicago's West Side with a horse and wagon in 1913, at age 13. In 1917 he and his brother, Paul, established A. J.

Panagakos wholesalers of potatoes and onions, at 738 W. Randolph St. The oldest family-owned produce house in Chicago, it is now operated by his son Paul. In 1953, Mr. Panagakos took over the Golden Gate Inn, 1235 W.

Randolph St. The restaurant is now operated by his sons John and Strati. In addition to his three sons, Mr. Panagakos is survived by his wife, Potoula; a daughter, Matina Connolly; and six grandchildren. Private services for Richard O.
