Eleanore M. Minogue, nee Hansen, died peacefully at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, IL on Palm Sunday, March 16, 2008. She was 91years old. Born July 20, 1916, she was the daughter of Harris and Helga Hansen of Chicago, IL. A life-long resident of the Chicago area, Eleanore resided the last 25 years in Naperville, IL.

Eleanore married Roy Minogue in 1938. They lived happily together for 52 years. She was employed by Illinois Bell as an accountant in the engineering department for 25 years. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, Eleanore was known for her kind and gentle ways and was cherished by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy, in 1990 and sister and brother-in-law Harriet and Stanley Peterson.

She is survived by her son Lee (Katharine) Minogue, Rockton, IL; granddaughter Emily (Brian) Hein and great-grandson Jonas Andrew Minogue Hein, all of Menomonee Falls, WI; nieces Charlene (Robert) Fleck, Mokena, IL and Arlene (James) Klebba, Tinley Park, IL; cousins Jeanette (Hugh) Johnson, Hales Corners, WI and Margaret (Henry) Reynolds, South Milwaukee, WI. A special remembrance, too, of her dear friend of many years, Winnifred Feustel, Naperville, IL. Eleanore was a member of Our Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington Naperville, IL. A memorial service will be held at the church at 1p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2008 followed by a luncheon reception.
