19, 1916, the daughter of Francis and Edith Edge in Chicago, IL. Annette was a talented seamstress who used her talent to make many wonderful things for her family. She enjoyed crafts and gardening and was an avid Cubs fan. She is survived by her children, Susan (Michael) Dolan, Robert (Edwina) Clayton and Thomas (Linda) Clayton; nine grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and sisters Irene Nehring of Hinckley, IL and Shirley Huebner of Carmel, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Clayton; and sisters Frances, Gerri, and Virginia.

Family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dieterele Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL.

14, 2009 in Green Lake, WI. Tom was born in Highland Park, MI, eldest of five children of Aira (Maki) and Thomas Kimen. Tom graduated from Lyons Township High School, LaGrange, IL; Michigan State University; and completed his MBA at the University of Michigan in 1959. Tom loved to remind all that he graduated on a Sunday and went to work on Monday for the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. In 1972 Northern Trust acquired Security Trust Company of Miami, FL.

Tom was President of the Miami operation and Chairman of Northern Trust Banks of Florida until 1982 when he returned to Chicago to work in the Corporate Trust Division. Tom was instrumental in bringing corporate trust services to high net worth families, creating a division now known as Wealth Management. Tom retired in 1995. Tom is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail (Carmichael), and children: Thomas Kimen III (Karen Murray) of Miami, and Amy McLean Kimen of Chicago. Since retirement, summers have been spent in Green Lake, WI and winters in Key Biscayne, FL.

Tom was involved in a variety of civic and community organizations in various locations. In the Glen Ellyn area where Tom lived he was on the Board of Central DuPage Hospital. In WI Tom served as a Trustee of Ripon College. Memorial tributes are very optional but would be welcomed at the College. Tom knew no stranger and had a zest for life that seems to be the backbone of what folks remember most about him.

Friends and family loved spirit of youthfulness and fun. A tribute to Tom will be held in Green Lake in the spring. Sign Guestbook at chicagotribune.com/obituaries JACOBSON, RONALD P. Ronald P. Jacobson, 76, of 310 Pinecrest, Macomb, formerly of Chicago, passed away at 4:15 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb. He was born on June 8, 1933 in Oak Park to Frank and Emma Jensen Jacobson. He married Jean L. Kercho on June 29, 1957 in Chicago.

She survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Pam (Don Rutledge) Jacobson of Macomb and Kathleen (Mike) Lembo of Euless, TX; three grandchildren and one great- granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents. He lived most of his life in Chicago, lived in Des Plaines for a few years before moving to Macomb three years ago. He worked in sales for a manufacturing company and owned Reserve Industrial Tools before his retirement.

He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army. Graveside services will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with Reverend Jon Keck officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Macomb VFW and the Macomb American Legion.

Emmanuel Marfo. Dr. was born May 17, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, to Edward Everett and Margaret McFadden As a child, he was a member of The Little Rascals, appearing in numerous films. He also was the stunt double for Shirley Temple. He received a B.S.

in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 1948 and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 1952. From 1952 to 1978 he was employed by Rohm and Haas of Philadelphia in the research division. His work resulted in over 30 patents and publications in the areas of exploratory organic synthesis, functional monomers, plasticiz- ers for PVC, and flame-retardant plastics, including Plexiglas In 1978 he joined the C.P. Hall Company in Chicago, from which he retired as Director of Research Development, in 1992.

He was a member of the American Chemical Society for more than 60 years. He moved to Haddonfield, NJ in 1996, and became a proud member of the St. Rose of Lima church choir.
