treble, 71 nt I GET FURS, THEN GET AWAY' Members of the Chicago Bar association will attend the funeral services for Allan A. Gilbert, widely known attorney, tomorrow. Mr. Gilbert, whose home was in Wilmette, was born Ph South Carolina. He started practicing law here in 1890.

For years he, was associated with a brother, but in 1910 was forced to quit 'practice because of ill health, it again two years later. A son. Allan A. Gilbert also is a lawyer here. Mr.

Emma IDEATH NOTICES Bandits early yesterday circumvented an elaborate burglat alarm sysPM in the of Nathan Teitlebaum, 3717 West Roosevelt road snd escaped with furs valued at $101 000. Police found that the robbers had entered the basement and tunneled through the floor directly into a vault containing the most valuatle garments in the store. Two years ago the store similarly was despoiled and one of the robbers, Joe Blasi, was fatally wounded by the police. His statements prior to death led to the solution of the murder of Handsome Joe" Lanus, west side autorntbile man. Two Raids Net $19,000.

Jewels worth $19,000 were stolen In two raids, ten minutes apart, on 'ewelry stores esterday. Gems worth 310,000 and $1,437 in cash were taken by two men from the store of Applebaum Kahn, 4759 North Kedzie avenue and $3,000 was the loot for two others at the Trocky jewelry store, r209 South Halsted street. Proprietors of the first store were bound and gagged by the thieves. Six thousand dollars' worth of loot was obtained by robbers who held up the Pitwell clothing store, 3449 West Roosevelt road; Barnett's shoe store, 3129 Lincoln avenue and a Newark shoe store at 1647 West Chicago The solution to .1 puzzle tci appear to-morrow.
