The entire estate was left to the widpw, Margaret. The estimate was made by Michael F. Mulcahy, former sherif, who was Kelly's attorney, in a petition to admit the will to probate. Personal property, largely stocks and bonds, was valued at $500,000. Real estate holdings were valued at $100,000.

In recent years, when in Chicago, he lived at the Ambassador East hotel, present residence of Mrs. Kelly. In 1933 Klly gave his home at 4831 Ellis av. to the Catholic church. The three story brick structure then was valued at $50,000.

Mulcahy said an inventory showing Kelly's holdings in detail would be filed within 90 days. The will was dated Sept. 30, 1947. Executors named are Mulcahy, Mrs. Kelly, and William Mc-Kenna, who was administrative assistant to Kelly and now holds the same position under Mayor Kennelly.

Widow Proves Heirship Shortly, after the will was filed Mrs. Kelly appeared before Judge William F. Waugh in Probate court to present proof of heirship. Then the two witnesses to the, will testified at a proof of will hearing. They are Father Stephen O'Don-nell, a nephew of the late mayor, and Police Sgt.

James Coakley, a bodyguard to Kelly at the time the will was signed. Kelly, 74, was mayor from 1933 to 1947. Previously he had risen to chief engineer of the sanitary father of Edgar H. and tne late vi. grandfather of Natalie and Barbara Schrder and Margaret N.
