Eldridge Dr. Charles D. Eldridge, 83, a Baptist clergyman who held pastorates at De Kalb, De Kalb county, and Chatsworth, Livingston county, before moving to California many years ago, died yesterday in his home in Pasadena after a long illness, Chicago relatives were informed. Dr. Eldridge, who served overseas as an army chaplain in World War was an author of books on religious subjects.

He was born in England and came to the United States as a young man. He leaves his widow, Margaret; four sons; one daughter; 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Gay Esty Bangs of Chicago. Henry J. HeO Henry J.

Heil, 47, of 48 E. Chicago an employe of the editorial departments of Chicago newspapers for more than 25 years, died yesterday in Billings hospital. A native of Decatur, Macon county, he began his career with the City News bureau and HUGOS yrank Targoi. beloved husband of Adams the driver, and Mrs. Elizabeth Banasiak, 37, of 4234 Connecticut who was separated from her husband.

Motorists had a clear view of the crossing, which is protected by a flasher sign, but Kaley drove out of a filling station and hit the side of the train, said En-geneman Harry Kessler of the west bound frate. Oa Way Home from Work Mrs. Banasiak was killed instantly. Kaley died en route to a hospital. Kaley was driving Yirr home from work on the day shift of the Carnegie-Illinois steel mill, friends said.
