Joins Firm in 1924 Mr. Wilson was born in Chicago and was a graduate and trustee of Illinois Wesleyan university. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1905, and joined the Kirkland firm in 1924. He was special assistant attorney general in charge of the Illinois toll road land acquisition program and was engaged in land acquisition for the Northwest and South expressways.

Roy Ewing Vale, 73, onetime moderator of the general assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States, died Thursday night in Winter Park, it was learned here Friday. Dr. Vale was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Oak Park from 1921 to 1930 and was pastor emeritus of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis. His body is to be returned to Indianapolis for burial. While in Oak Park, he had served as a member of the church extension board of Chicago Presbytery.
