Attorney General John E. Cassidy announced the meeting yesterday. It was called after residents of Joliet End Lockport protested repeatedly that because of the decreased diversion from the lake the current in the canal near those cities has become sluggish and. as a consequence, obnoxious sewage odors plague the communities.

Similar complaints have been received from Justice Fark and Reduced from Cubic Feet. The diversion was reduced from 5,000 cubic feet a second to 1,500 last Jan. 1 in accordance with an order of the United States Supreme court. This order was issued in 1930, when the flow into the canal was 6.800 cubic feet a second, and followed a I'VE GOT YOUR CHECK FOR A THOUSAND DOLLARS SHOWING YOU BOUGHT HALF INTEREcST IN AAY BUSINESS WOMAN DEAL.
