Charles Ailleret, chief of France's general staff and a leading opponent of the-United States flexible-response strategy against soviet aggression, was killed tonight when his plane hit a hill on this Indian ocean island. Tuesday in the Ernest Fremont Tittle chapel of the First Methodist church, 1630 Hinman Evanston. Dr. Sutton died Friday night in his home at 830 Ridge Evanston. He had offices at 636 Church Evanston, and 30 N. Michigan av.

Dr. Sutton was professor emeritus of medicine in the Northwestern school of medicine and chairman of the school's medical division and chief of the cardiac clinic at County hospital. He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth; a son, Dr. George C. Sutton of Evanston; a daughter, Mrs.

Tribune Company Benjamin Hill Berentson, 57, member of an Omaha family which pioneered in the convenience food industry, including the frozen TV dinner; president of Swanson Enterprises; and board member of Campbell Soup company, Northwestern Bell Telephone company, Yellow Transit company, Nebraska Consolidated Mills, and Omaha National bank; in Omaha. Rexford W. Barton, 70, retired executive of the Lawrence Radiation laboratory, and a former executive with the University of California laboratory; in Berkeley, Cal. 3rd Hinsdale, died yesterday in her home. She was the widow of Harry A. Brink-man, vice president of the Harris Trust and Savings bank and past president of the village of Hinsdale, who died last year. Mrs. Brinkman had been a member of the board of curators of Stephens college, Columbia, vice president of the Hinsdale Republican club, and author of two books.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Frances Wilson; a son, Howard and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the chapel of the Union Church of Hinsdale, 137 S. Garfield Hinsdale.

Mrs. Mary Newey Mrs. Mary Newey, 73, of 1034 Altgeld st, widow of the Rev. Paul S. Newey, founder of the Assyrian United Church of Christ, died yesterday in Alex-ian Brothers hospital.

Mrs. Newey and her late husband helped more than 1,000 Assyrians become American citizens after World War H. Mrs. Newey leaves three sons, Paul former chief investigator for the state's attorney's office, Donald and Carl a daughter, Mrs, Marie Degaard, and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.
