Scheidt, 70, sanitary district chief engineer for 38 years and a national expert on sewage treatment, will be held at 10 a. m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 93d Street and Hamilton Av.

Mr. Scheidt, who retired June 24, 1963, from his engineering post, died Monday in Deerfield Beach, Fla. He was an attorney and member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Chicago, and the Knights of Malta. Surviving are his widow Charlotte; a son, Richard a daughter, Mrs. Mary Pejril; and 13 grandchildren.

Jack C. Sheldon Jack C. Sheldon, 66, an ney for more than 40 years with offices at 33 N. Dearborn died yesterday in his home at 40 E. Oak St.

He leaves three brothers, Ben, Harry, and Joseph Schneiderman, and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Mintz and Mrs. Eva Katz. Services will be held at 11 a. tomorrow in the chapel at 5206 N.

Broadway. Philip C. Sheehan Mass for Philip C. Sheehan, 82, of 5806 N. Rockwell will be said at noon tomorrow in St.

Hilary's Catholic Church, 5600 N. Fairfield Av. Mr. Sheehan, a Chicago attorney for 50 years, died Monday at home. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; a son, William; a daughter, Mrs.

Lois Graham; and eight grandchildren. William H. Theile William H. Theile, 53, of 902 Pine Winnetka, an advertising representative for Dell Publishing 400 N. Michigan died 1 Monday in his home.

Survivors include his widow, Jean; a daughter, Christie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Theile, Fort Lauderdale, a brother; and a sister.

Police said the driver of the car, Harold Kentschel, 62, of 2108 W. 21st turned into Damen Avenue from 51st Street. Kentschel was charged with failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian. A total of 500 persons had been killed in traffic accidents in Cook County since last Dec. 31.

Of those 270 were killed i in Chicago, where 38,500 had been injured in the same period. $33.8 Billion Budget OKd by W. Germany BONN, Dec. 19 today passed the government's disputed 1972 budget of $33.8 billion in the space of 30 minutes. The budget is due for a third reading tomorrow in parliament but this was only a formality after its passage in today's second reading.
