Hannah Brenner Services for Hannah 90, a retired employee of General Motors Acceptance will be held at noon Monday in the chapel 5206 N. Broadway. Miss Brenner, of the North Side died Friday at home. She was in the Women's Air Corps during World War II, then worked as a shorthand reporter in the inspec-( tor general section of 5th Army headquarters.

She later worked for General Motors Acceptance Corp. for 23 years. Survivors include a sister. Dr. LJ.

Kunsch 1 Thomas J. Carvigen Mass for Thomas J. Carrigan, 1 8, of Glenview, will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St Catherine La-bbure Catholic Church, 3535 Thornwood in the suburb, Mr. Carrigan died Friday in an auto accident in Omaha, Neb.

Mr. Carrigan was a freshman at Creighton University in Omaha. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Boys in Niles. He starred in Marillac Play Produc- tions. Survivors include his parents, Jack tind Jane; a sister, Kathleen; a brother, William; his paternal grandmother, Kathryn Carrigan; and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Rosemary McGinnis.

Martin P. Gleason Mass for Martin P. Gleason, 94, a former Joliet official and bank executive, will be held Monday at 1 1 a.m. in the Cathedral of St Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Ray-nor Joliet Mr.

Gleason died Saturday at St Joseph's Medical Center in Joliet In 1916, he was the quarterback of the Joliet Steel Works Club, one of the state's fledgling football teams, when it defeated the forerunner of the Chicago Bears, the Decatur Staleys. Mr. Gleason was the baseball and football coach of De La Salle High School in Joliet between 1920 and 1924 while he was working in the accounting department of the American Steel Wire Co. In 1933, he was elected Joliet Township Clerk, a post he held for 12 years. In 1955, he became a vice president of Union National Bank.

Wag-staff the first curator of modern art at the Detroit Institute of Art, has died at age 65. Mr. WagstafT died Wednesday of and pneumonia in his 5th Avenue apartment here. During his years at the DIA, from 1968 to 1971, he was recognized as a galvanizing force for collectors and artists and his bits and acquisitions were regarded to be of major significance. He secured Tony Smith's "Gracehopper" sculpture for the museum.

"Sam was always the head of the crowd," said Michael Kan, curator of the museum's African, Oceanic and New World cultures. "He had tremendous wisdom. In the early 1970s, when he bought the DIA's DiSuvero sculpture, people were balking at paying $75,000. The only one that's come on the market since sold at auction for a Quarter of a million dollars. He aid the foundation for the museum's contemporary period collection." Mr.

WagstafT left the DIA to collect photographs and in 1984 he sold his collection of more than 6,000 photographs to the J. He began his private practice in Naperville in 1936.

He was the first president of the staff of Edward Hospital in 1956. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the rank of major as a field surgeon in Gen.
